The goal of the European Veterinary Renal Pathology Service (EVRPS) is to support the European veterinary clinicians with a renal interest, offering pathologic evaluation of kidney specimens obtained from dogs and cats.
EVRPS provides consultations in renal pathology and detailed
descriptions including light microscopy (LM), immunofluorescence
(IF), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
EVRPS assists veterinarians, especially nephrologists and specialists
in both academic and private practice, by sending renal biopsy kits,
tracking samples and follow-up consultation.
EVRPS also represents the first continental registry to record pathological diagnosis and clinicopathologic data of dogs undergoing renal biopsies.
